Maketewah Country Club is a Donald Ross designed course, with a strong emphasis on golf located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The club is currently working with architect Brain Silva on finishing his master plan for Maketewah. The final phase to our master plan started in the Fall of 2022, and will include fairway bunkering, rerouting of fairways, and all new teeing complexes. Along with the course renovations, a new irrigation system will be installed.

The Assistant will work closely with the superintendent in all aspects of course maintenance, as well as in construction of the club’s master plan. This will be a great opportunity to learn all aspects on turf maintenance, along with construction, and irrigation installation in the transition zone of the country.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must have a 2- or 4-year degree in turf grass management or a related field.
Individuals currently enrolled in a turf program are welcome to apply
Some golf course experience helpful, but not required as we are willing to train anyone willing to learn.
Must be able to obtain state pesticide license

Compensation & Benefits:

$65,000+ dependent on experience
