Golf & Sports Turf Equipment Service Technician

Finch Turf, a leading John Deere Golf Course and Sports Turf dealership, is seeking an In-house Golf & Sports Turf Equipment Service Technician for their shop in Avon, MA.  The selected individual will take pride in their work, be self-motivated to exceed goals, and contribute to a great work environment.

• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background investigation and drug test 
• Forklift experience (preferred) 

Key responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of golf and sports turf equipment. 
• Perform scheduled maintenance.
• Overhaul and test major components.
• Complete documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders. 
• Utilize equipment operating manuals, schematics, and drawings. 
• Diagnose and identify malfunctions.
• Inspect, repair, and replace defective or  worn parts. 
• Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment. 
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range:  $25.00-$32.00 per hour with earning potential of $40.00 + per hour with bonus and incentives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years’ mechanical experience
